Joshua Bassett. A true talent. In fact, he recently released his first single “Common Sense,” where he reflects on combatting emotions with common sense. “The song is pretty simple,” says Joshua in an interview with Broadway World, “you know someone’s bad news, yet you can’t help but love them anyway.” He wrote this song himself on the way to an acting audition, finishing the lyrics and guitar chords in just fifteen minutes. After you listen to “Common Sense,” you would never expect the basis of such a production to have originated from a 19-year-old singing to himself in a mall parking lot.
