In the tough times that we face today, it’s hard to see the light at the end of this dark tunnel. Just when we thought COVID-19 was getting bad, the world decided to bless us with bloodthirsty murder hornets. However, two content creators, Flight Reacts and EDP445 have shown us that not all is lost. Here’s to the two individuals (along with all health care employees and essential workers) that are saving 2020.

Clarence Javelli, also known as Flightreacts, is an American YouTube star and a gamer, who gained his popularity thanks to his two channels ‘FlightReacts’ and ‘NotYourAverageFlight’. He was born in Washington, DC in 1995 and moved to West Palm Beach in Florida, where he’s spent most of his life. Flight is well-known for his bright and silly personality, entertaining and exciting sketches, excellent sense of humour while reacting to various videos from all over the internet. Flight often reacts to NBA videos, and a person watching him for the first time would easily be able to discern that he may be the biggest fan in the world of Stephen Curry, the superstar point guard of the Golden State Warriors. Whenever seeing Curry in a clip, Flight often excitedly comments, “look at Curry man, so inspirational.” Curry even acknowledged Flight on a recent Instagram Live, repeating the catchphrase “Look at Curry man.” Aside from reacting to videos, Flight also holds live streams on Twitch that gain him upward of 20,000 viewers at a time. To add, Flight also makes music, with his most recent single going by the name of “Disingenuous”. Although he may not be the brightest tool in the shed, Flight is a funny character and makes this quarantine a little more bearable. He’s known for other catch phrases as well, that has gained popularity throughout social media. He often says “I didn’t have the cameras on,” referring to when he allegedly completes insane feats or accomplishments, such as a 360 dunk or a half-court shot. Just recently, while streaming, Flight stated, “I got into Yale to study to be president, but I didn’t have the cameras on.” Another one of his famous sayings is “I’ll be doing that by June,” referring to an incredible talent that he claims will be perfected by June. However, due to the recent release of his song “Disingenuous,” his fans have cooked up a theory that Flight is disingenuous. His devoted followers believe that he will drop his act on June 1st, and turn into the insanely talented individual that he is. Regardless, Flight has 2.3 million subscribers on his reaction channel and hundreds of thousands on the other and is gaining momentum every day. With his enthusiasm and talent, he is sure to become one of the top YouTube characters in the coming years. Expect to seem more from Flight.

On the other hand, EDP445, born Bryant Moreland, shoots comedic vlogs and reaction videos mostly related to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles. Additionally, he posts food reviews, stories from his childhood, and the occasional inappropriate video. EDP started shooting videos in 2011, but gained massive prominence in 2015 and 2016, due to his rants about the Eagles (who weren’t performing great at the time) making it on massive entertainment platforms such as Bleacher Report and Complex. An eccentric, loud, and humorous personality, EDP has truly not changed himself one bit since his rise to fame, with fans loving the fact that he stayed the same regardless of his Youtube fame. Currently living in Bakersfield, California, EDP often travels to Eagles football games throughout the United States and is always greeted with a procession of fans hoping to take a photo with him. EDP has undergone immense adversity throughout his life, losing his mother at a young age, and having to work multiple jobs, but his Youtube has launched him to having unparalleled fame for a sports fan. One of his most viewed videos is his vlog of Super Bowl 52, where his Eagles emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle with the New England Patriots. Their win nearly brought EDP to the verge of tears, as the confetti rained around him and the Eagles celebrated on the field. Throughout quarantine, EDP has gained thousands of followers a day, and will soon become one of the most recognizable content creators we know.

Although 2020 has been tough for many of us, Flight and EDP show that not all is lost. We can go to bed satisfied, knowing that they will always be there to save the day.
